This artwork is a captivating exploration of fractal design, employing repetitive figures to create an illusion of movement. Initially, the piece was meticulously crafted using black and white markers, establishing a strong visual foundation. The subsequent layers were painted with watercolors, featuring a palette of analogous colors that flow harmoniously, contrasted with vibrant yellow accents.

Each layer showcases a gradient effect, transitioning from the selected colors to a soft white, enhancing the sense of depth and movement within the composition. Notably, the purple areas of the artwork exhibit black accents instead of yellow, adding an intriguing variation and complexity to the overall design.

This piece was created for the Elements & Organization class (DSGN 100) at SCADNow as part of a dual enrollment program in 2023. The artwork invites viewers to engage with its dynamic patterns and rich colors, celebrating the beauty of fractals and the illusion of motion.
